By engaging AIRank PRO to optimize your website content for GenAI, you are explicitly granting us permission to scrape your website to obtain the data we need for our optimization process. That permission supercedes industry standard practices and procedures as follows:

  • Robots.txt: In order to properly scan your website content, we will ignore any user agent directives found in your robots.txt file. In addition, we will use various methods and techniques to uncover content that may not be readily discoverable and published in your sitemap.

  • Impact on Website Responsiveness: Our scraping processes are controlled and place reasonable traffic loads on your web server. This should not prevent others from visiting your website normally. If you have specific concerns or if website performance is an issue under normal traffic loads, please let us know in advance and we will attempt to scrape your website during off-hours.

  • Sensitive/Confidential Information or Credentials: Our process make no attempts to access areas that are not publicly accessible. Areas that are visible using a web browser should be visible to our processes as well. That being said, website misconfigurations may expose areas that were never intended to be made public. If we discover sensitive or confidential information or locate exposed credentials, we will immediately notify you and provide the details of when, where, and how this information was discovered so that you can take appropriate action. We will immediately destroy our copies of this information.

5. GPDR / CCPA Statement

  • Permission: We conduct website scraping only with explicit written permission from our clients to access and analyze their publicly available online content.
